PPM Announces Claims Staff Addition

Ms. Judy Simon joins PPM as Senior Claims Attorney.
Overland Park, Kansas - November 16, 2021 - Preferred Physicians Medical (PPM), industry-leading provider of professional liability insurance for anesthesia practices, announced today that Judy Simon, JD, RN recently joined PPM in the position as Senior Claims Attorney.
Judy will be responsible for the management of day-to-day file activities, evaluation of defense strategy, supervision of local defense counsel, and directing settlement negotiations. Judy will also assume responsibilities for providing risk management and advice to PPM’s insureds.
Judy obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Research College of Nursing. Judy brings years of litigation experience in private practice along with her experience in healthcare as a registered nurse.
